The Department of Civil Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, proudly announces the hosting of International Conference on Recent Developments in Civil Engineering (RDC-2022). The conference aims to provide a platform for academicians, individuals working in the industry, as well as students to showcase their research innovations and get recognition. RDC 2022 aspires to bring together research professional fraternity for the discussions and exchange of information on recent developments in Civil Engineering. In a quest to regard all classes of research-oriented audience from across the globe, the two-days conference (RDC 2022) is proposed to be held from October 20-21, 2022. The scope of the conference embraces all the latest research trends in Civil Engineering.

HOW TO REACH



Prayagraj is situated in the north part of India in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is well connected with flights, rail and road transport to other parts of India. Daily trains, buses and flights are available from major cities in India.


Prayagraj By Air

Prayagraj has its own domestic airport which is 15 km away from the heart of the city. Airport is connected to metros like Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow. Airport to city taxi charge is about Rs 400. Abroad travelers need to get connecting flights from Delhi or Kolkata.

Prayagraj By Train

Railway station in Prayagraj (Prayagraj Junction) is a major railway station of north India and is situated in the heart of the city. The railway station is very well connected to all the important cities in India

By Bus

Very good road services are available in Prayagraj. UPSRTC buses give service to most of the cities in Uttar Pradesh. From Prayagraj bus services are available to Lucknow (200 KM), Kanpur (200KM), Delhi (650 km) and Kolkata (800 km) etc.




About the city

The city is a primary center for culture, religion and education. The confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers defines this city. Many national and regional headquarters of administration, military and research facilities are located in the city.

Prayagraj is also famous for producing 7 out of 15 Prime Ministers of India - Jawahar Lal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Gulzari Lal Nanda, Vishwanath Pratap Singh and Chandrashekhar, they all were either born in Prayagraj, were alumni of Allahabad University or were elected from a constituency in Prayagraj.

Climate: (Sept) Moderately Hot. Temperature varies from 15℃ to 39℃. Languages spoken: Hindi, Urdu, English Tourist attractions: Sangam(confluence of rivers), All Saints Cathedral, Alfred Park, Khusro Bagh, Yamuna Bridge, Public Library (estd. 1864), Allahabad University (estd. 1887), etc
