Dr. Rajesh Yadav

DRDO, Delhi, India

Dr. Rajesh Yadav completed his B.Tech (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering from Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), Jhansi, M.Tech from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), Agra and PhD in Wireless Sensor Network from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow (U.P). He had worked as Lecturer in Computer Sc. & Engg. Department in Kumaon Engineering College, ALMORA (Uttarakhand ) from 1995 to 1998. He joined Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO, Bangalore in 1998 where he has designed and developed real time embedded systems for radar applications and carried out weapon system integration and evaluations. Presently, he is Scientist ‘F’ and Director, PM (SAM) at DRDO HQ, New Delhi and is working in the areas of System Analysis & Modelling, Project Management and Technology Management.

Title of the Talk: Emerging Defence Systems & Technologies: Opportunities & Challenges

Abstract of the Talk: All the major defence systems and technologies have Signal Processing, Communication and VLSI components embedded into it. The talk will be focussed on the major critical & futuristic technology areas where DRDO is working and the possible opportunities for DRDO, Industry and Academia working together on these systems & technologies.
