The Department of Electrical Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad has successfully organized four successive conferences titled "International Conference on Power, Control & Embedded Systems (ICPCES-2010, ICPCES-2012, ICPCES-2014 and ICPCES-2017)", technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Uttar Pradesh section and IEEE Joint Society Chapter of IE/PE/CS, MNNIT Allahabad. The papers presented in these conferences will be available on IEEE Xplore website. Based on the positive response obtained from the participants and experts in the previous years, the Department of Electrical Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad is organizing 5th International Conference on Power, Control & Embedded Systems (ICPCES) from January 6-8, 2023.

The objective of the conference is to bring together academicians, researchers, professionals, executives and practicing engineers, from various industries, research institutes and educational bodies to share and exchange ideas and information on the theme of the conference. The scope of the conference is multidisciplinary and will involve researchers of different areas having research orientation. The conference will focs on the emeging areas in the field of Power Electronics & Drives, Power Conditioning & Renewable Energy, Control Systems & Applications, Signal Processing & VLSI, Industrial Instrumentation, Commenication and Embedded Systems, Computational Intelligence etc.

Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad (formerly Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College MNREC, Allahabad) is an institute with total commitment to quality and excellence in academic pursuits, and is among one of the leading institutes in India.
