Department of Biotechnology in collaboration with Department of Applied Mechanics and Department of Physics is organizing a DBT sponsored ??? ???? ???????? ??????? ?? "????????? ???????? ??? ??????? ?????????" ?????? ????? ?? ?? ??, ????. The training program was inaugurated on 18.03.2025 by Prof. Rama Shanker Verma, Director MNNIT Allahabad. In his inaugural lecture Prof. R. S. Verma focussed on application of computers in Biotechnology and drug discovery. Coordinator of the workshop Dr. Ashutosh Mani welcomed the participants. On this occasion Dean (R&C) Prof. A.K. Singh, Head Biotechnology Prof. Manisha Sachan, Head Applied Mechanics Department Prof. A. R. Paul, and PI of the DBT project Prof. R. P. Tewari addressed the participants. Expert talk was delivered by Dr. Anant Narayan Bhatt, Senior Scientist at INMAS, DRDO, Delhi. Dr. Bhatt, member of the team that developed Covid-19 drug 2-DG, shared his experience on drug discovery.
