Call for Special Session Proposals

The Organizing Committee of the 9th Students’ Conference on Engineering and Systems 2027 (SCES-2027) invites proposals for Special Sessions in areas aligned with the conference theme.

Special Sessions should focus on emerging and specialized topics beyond the main technical tracks, showcasing recent innovations and advancements in specific fields within the conference domain.

What to Include in the Proposal

Special Session Requirements

  • Maximum 3 organizers per Special Session.
  • At least 1 organizer must be affiliated with a different institution.
  • Each organizer may author a maximum of 2 papers.
  • Minimum 8 accepted papers required to conduct the Special Session.
  • Papers must include contributions from at least 3 different institutions.

Evaluation

Proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Technical Program Committee based on their potential to attract prominent researchers, advance knowledge in emerging areas, and foster collaboration and research networks.

Organization & Review

Organizers are responsible for promoting the session, ensuring topic alignment, and coordinating with the Conference Technical Program Committee. Special Session papers follow the standard peer-review process, with each paper reviewed by a minimum of three reviewers.
