Special Sessions ICPCES-2026

Call for Special Session

The Organizing Committee of the 6th International Conference on Power, Control & Embedded Systems (ICPCES-2026) invites proposals for Special Sessions in areas aligned with the conference theme. Special Sessions should focus on emerging and specialized topics beyond the main technical tracks, highlighting recent innovations and advancements within the conference domain.

Each proposal must include the following:

  • Title and acronym of the proposed Special Session (if any)
  • Rationale, need, and objectives of the Special Session (200-300 words)
  • Names, affiliations, email IDs, contact numbers, and short CVs (maximum 200 words each) of the organizers for the Special Session
  • List of proposed topics to be covered in the Special Session
  • Expected number of submissions

Special Session Proposal Evaluation

All special session proposals will be reviewed by the conference technical program committee. Proposals will be assessed based on their potential to attract prominent researchers in emerging fields, advance knowledge in the area, and ability to foster collaboration and research networks.

Requirements for Special Sessions

  • A maximum of three (3) organizers per Special Session is allowed
  • At least one organizer must be from a different institution
  • Each organizer may author a maximum of two papers
  • A minimum of eight (8) accepted papers is required to conduct the session
  • Papers must include contributions from at least three different institutions

Special Session Promotion and Organization

The Special Session organizers will be responsible for promoting the session to potential authors and contributors, ensuring that submitted papers align with the theme of the special session, coordinating with the Conference Technical Program Committee.

Paper Submission

Papers for Special Sessions can be submitted through the regular ICPCES-2026 submission process by selecting the appropriate Special Session track. All submitted papers must follow the IEEE conference paper format.

Special Session Review Process

Papers submitted to Special Sessions will undergo the standard peer review process followed for regular conference submissions.
